Open Space Austin - Converging on the Commons

Open Space Austin is a gathering of pioneers and visionaries, activists and advocates from diverse sectors of Community ICT. Together we will forge strategies and establish commitments to coordinate our defense and advancement of the commons.

Open Space Austin will be an intensive two day strategy meeting, designed to spark common alignment, new alliances and individual actions for anyone passionate about community & independent media, community networking, community wireless, community informatics & research or community technology and the relevance of these to community and economic development. The format will consist of a variety of large and small group discussion around self-selected topics, with a standard reporting system that will dynamically generate a conference report available at the conclusion of the meeting.
